Organic Amines Solvent

Methyldiethanolamine is a kind of colorless or slightly yellow viscous liquid. Its boiling point is 247C. It is soluble in water and alcohol and is slightly soluble in ether.

Methyldiethanolamine’s  performance is excellent as selective solvent for desulfurization and decarbonization. It has characteristics of high selectivity,  less solvent consumption, remarkable energy-saving effect and is not easy to degradation. It is widely used as oil field gas and coal gas desulfurization, purification, and emulsification agent, acid gas absorbent, acid and alkali control agent and polyurethane foam catalyst.

Quality standard:

- Appearance: colorless or slightly yellow viscous liquid, no suspended matter;
- Density (20C): 1.030-1.050g/cm3;
- Gas chromatography: ≤0.8%;
- Chemical titration method: ≤0.10mmol/g;
- MDEA: ≥99%;
- Water: ≤0.6%.

Plenty of project experience shows that the organic amine solvent used by UNE has good adsorption performance and can meet requirements of impurities removal.
