Labyrinth Type Compressor

Labyrinth type compressor needs not lubrication oil while seals well. According to its structure, it is divided into close and open type.

The principle of throttle sealing labyrinth compressor is non-contact sealing. There is no piston ring, support ring and packing ring, making labyrinth type compressor long lifecycle and reliable. The labyrinth compressor with throttle seal doesn’t require high cleanliness on medium, so it is especially effective for processing ethylene, propylene and flare gas that contains dust and particles.

Because labyrinth type compressor doesn’t use lubricating oil, it can achieves absolute non-oil in the medium it compresses. So labyrinth type compressor has unique advantage that other compressor can not match when transporting oxygen, high purity nitrogen and food grade medium. Besides air, the labyrinth compressor can also compress O2, N2, CO2, CO, CH4, C2H2, NH3, Cl2, BF3, HCl, etc.

Labyrinth type compressor is widely used in petrochemical and coal chemical industry.
